St. John Group Logistics Checklist

Save this before anyone gets on the plane.

1. St. John has no airport. Fly into Cyril E. King (STT) on St. Thomas.
2. Choose the crossing before the travel day. Love City Car Ferries takes the rental. A water taxi takes the group in about 15 minutes and does not take the St. Thomas car.
3. A late landing at STT can miss the last car ferry. The last sailing is in the afternoon.
4. Save 911. Say Valhalla, Catherineberg, above Cinnamon Bay. The clinic is Myrah Keating Smith in Susannaberg. The hospital is Schneider Regional, 340-776-8311, on St. Thomas.
5. Bring medicines, plus extra days, in a carry-on. Chelsea Drug Store in Cruz Bay is 340-776-4888 and closed Sunday.
6. Order Starfish Market before you land if the kitchen should be stocked. 340-779-4949. Every day, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. They deliver.
7. A private chef is not in the lodging rate. Ask with the dates, and send the allergy list.
8. The house sleeps 16 and works best for 10 to 14. The indoor table seats 10. The terrace table seats 10.
9. Cleaning is $1,250 per stay. USVI hotel tax is 12.5%. Past four guests, the extra-guest fee is $75 a night.
10. The house is above Cinnamon Bay. It is not on the sand. Trunk Bay’s amenity fee is $5 per person ages 16 and up, cards only.
